SYDNEY SHEEP SHOW

NEXT YEAR’S CLASSES. The dates for next year’s show of the New South Wales Sheepbreeders' Association have been fixed for June 21, 22 and 23, and the council of the association has already revised the schedule of the merino section. At next year’s fixutre, merino sheep, one and a-half years old and under two years must not show more than four teeth. It has also been decided that sheep entered in pen classes shall be eligible to compete for the champion and reserve grand champion awards. A new section has been provided for super-fine Merinos with a spinning quality of 74's or better, for which 25 guineas prize money has been donated by Mr. W. T. Merriman, of Merriville, Yass. The classes will be the same as in the fine, medium and strong will Merino sections, viz., ram under one and a-half years old, ram over one and a-half and under two years, ram two years and under three years, ram three years and over. There will be similar classes for ewes, with champion and reserve champion award, each sex.

A revision of the Corriedale and British breed sections will be made at a later date.
