CANADIAN GRAIN MARKET
INVASION BY CHICAGO TRADERS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received August 15, 8.55 p.m.) WINNIPEG, August 14. Members of the Grain Exchange meet on Tuesday to discuss the plans to counteract the effect of the market conditions at Chicago on the Winnipeg Exchange. Hedged in by price restrictions of their own market, the Chicago traders invaded the Winnipeg pit for the protection of their trades. During the past week heavy selling resulted in a sharp depression of values and to offset this members will meet to consider what action will be taken.
