TIMARU CLUB. Forty members of the Tlmaru Miniature Rifle Club fired in No. 16 match >n Monday, and 17 of them with handicaps included tied with the possible and will shoot'off next week. The 17 members who tied for the previous week's match were reduced to two after two shootsoff. The tie for last week's silver rifle between A. Agnew, W. Duncan and W. Malcolm was shot off. and each scored 78. Duncan and Malcolm fired off but again tied so the finish was adjourned till next week. The Pleasant Point Club fired the seventeenth official shoot on Monday night, when 33 members competed for a trophy given by Mr P. J. Bowman. H. D. Roberts proved the winner in the fourth round, finishing with two consecutive possibles and he also won the Bowman weekly button. Miss MacBean was runner-up. W. T. In the women’s championship. Mrs -V. T. Taylor holds the lead with 895 while Miss M. Wall is next with 888. WINCHESTER CLUB. On Monday night, the Winchester Men’s Miniature Rifle Club fired for Mr T. H. Baker's trophy. A. Archibald proved the winner with 77 off the rifle. W. Priddle won the button with a possible. Following were the scores—W. Priddle 80. W. R. Pearce 79, P. The winner of the buttons were Mrs Morse and W. J. Brehaut. ORARI CLUB. At the Orari Ladies’ Miniature Rifle Club’s shoot the trophy given by Mrs W. Quirke was won by Mrs F. Priddle with 78 off the rifle. The trophy presented by Mrs Macdonald was won by Miss M. Mason, with 76 off the rifle. The best scores were—Mrs P. Priddle 78, Mrs W. Watson 77. Miss M. A. Henderson 75. FOUR PEAKS CLUB. There was a good attendance at the weekly practice of the Men s Miniature Rifle Club. The following were the best scores:—J. Robinson 79, W. Mallinson 78, R. Ford 78, R. Wooding 78. A trophy presented by Mr L. Orr, was won by R. Ford with 78 off the rifle. GERALDINE ASSOCIATION. In the shoot for the Burnett Challenge Cup between Hilton and Winchester, the following scores were registered: — Hilton—A. Cornelius 80, R. Meredith 80, L. Beattie 79. W. Ferguson 78, R. A.
