The following are the County cricket results:— Kent y. Derbyshire. Kent—First innings, 209 (Woolley 72; Copson took five for 82); second innings 229 (Woolley 161). Derbyshire —First innings 84 (Freeman took six for 30); second innings 194 (Freeman took six for 82). Kent won by 160 run*. Worcestershire v. Gloucestershire. Worcestershire First Innings 193 (Goddard took six for 67); second innings 205 (Goddard took six for 73). Gloucestershire—first innings 253 (Dacre 56); second Innings one for 146 (Hammond, not out 86). Gloucestershire won by nine wickets. Sussex v. Surrey. Sussex—First innings 441 (J. Parks 163). Surrey—First innings 214. They followed on, losing one wicket for 36. Sussex won on the first Innings. Yorkshire v. Leicestershire. Yorkshire—First innings 550 (Sutcliffe 174, Mitchell 95). Leicestershire —First innings 154. They followed on, making 145. Leyland took six for 46. Yorkshire won by an innings and 251 runs. . . , Lancashire v. Middlesex. Lancashire—First innings, five for 414, declared (Paynter 82, Lister, not Out, 100). Middlesex—First innings, 191. Hopwoed took five for 47. They followed on, making 200 (Hulme 74). Hopwood took six for 80. Lancashire won by an innings and 23 runs. Hampshire v. Nottinghamshire. Hampshire—First Innings, 466 (Mead 152, Pothecary 118). Nottinghamshire —First innings, seven for 396 (Keeton HO, Carr 84, Voce, not out, 66, Lilley, not out, 62). The match was drawn. Glamorganshire v. Somersetshire. Glamorganshire—First innings, 234 (D. .Davies 83); second innings, none for 134 (Dyson, not out, 65, E. Davies 74). Somersetshire First innings, eight for 429, declared (Young 135). Somersetshire won on the first Innings.
