A CHRISTCHURCH APPEAL.
£25,000 FOR UNEMPLOYED. By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH. June 10. The business men’s relief appeal, aiming to raise £25,000. has so far netted £4763. The City Council employees, after hearing an address by the Mayor, agreed to contribute 3d in the pound from their wages.
