COLD BAND TAXIS
EXCELLENT SERVICE OFFERED TO PUBLIC OF TIMARU.
Comfortable and roomy cars, continuous service day and night, the lowest possible fares, and courtesy and attention are the main attributes of the service offered to the public of Timaru by Gold Band Taxis. Formed in Timaru about three years ago, the company immediately set about making substantial reductions in the prices of taxi hire, and this action, in addition to the excellent service offered, quickly resulted in the company becoming firmly established. Although a separate company, Timaru Gold Band Taxis form a working link with other services of the same name operating in the main centres throughout New Zealand, which tends to greater business efficiency.
With a fine sense of what the public appreciate and with the desire to give the best possible service, the company recently purchased a new fleet of Dodge six-cylinder cars from a local firm. The purchase of these cars marks a definite step forward, and should bring to the company even more business than hitherto enjoyed. The cars are daily cleaned and disinfected, thus assuring the utmost in cleanliness. Gold Band Taxis are fully appreciative of the support accorded them, and. with the commencement of a new era in the company’s business, they take the opportunity of extending sincere thanks to the public. The support given them has shown that their efforts to provide an efficient and continuous service have been appreciated. They have endeavoured to show the same consideration to everyone. and keeping this object in view, they have adhered to their set charges in dealing with all classes of the community. As a base the company uses c .- modious premises situated at 49 Stafford Street South ('phone 1500». where a taxi can be obtained at any time of the day and night. The drivers employed are all local men. capable and courteous. Indeed, it is demanded that they should at all time' pay strictest attention to the two qualities just named. Because of the enterprise shown, it is particularly desirable that the support accorded in the past should oe continued in the future.
The company respectfully solicits a continuance of the patronage of the public, and gives an assurance that it will be their earnest endeavour to maintain the excellent service which they have been assured, they have given in the past
