Two hundred workmen engaged in the construction of a bridge over the River Mojgondal, in one of the Kathiawar States, Western India, it is feared have been drowned. All were swept off the bridge by sudden floods. The people on the river banks were powerless to help, as the mass of humanity disappeared in the swollen waters.
