ALLOCATION OF PROFITS

£IO,OOO FOR RELIEF OF DISTRESS

The allocation of profits in the Great Easter art union were announced by the Hon. J. a. Young this evening as follows:

£IO,OOO for relief of distress throughout the Dominion. £3OOO to the Trustees of the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum for the “Peat” collection of Kauri gum and Maori curias.

£350 to Waikato Children’s Camp League.

£SOO for Wellington Children’s Camp Association.

£IOO to Christchurch Sunshine League Camp. £IOO to Mrs Marshall MacDonald’s Waikouaiti Children’s Health Camp, Dunedin.

£3OO to Rev. Leslie B. Neale’s Company Bay Children’s Camp. £ISOO to Central Otago Gold Miners’ Prospecting Association. The £IO,OOO for rel ef of distress is to be made available pro rata to centres showing unemployed registrations of thirty and over on March 18th.
