The Waimarino arrived from the south last evening to load general cargo for Wellington and Auckland, via Lyttelton. The vessel will proceed north to-day. ihe Calm is due from southern ports to-day to load for Wellington and Wanganui, via Lyttelton. Another arrival to-day should be the Opihi from Westport. The vessel will proceed from here to Oamaru and Dunedin, returning on Saturday to load for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth via Lyttelton. The Kaimai is set down to arrive in Timaru to-morrow from Oamaru to load for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne, via Lyttelton. The Waikouaiti has also been put back until to-morrow, when she is expected to arrive from Dunedin to discharge general cargo and load for northern ports. The Port Whangarei is due to-day from Dunedin to load for Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland and Whangarei. The John should arrive to-morrow, from the south to load for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato, via Lyttelton. An arrival on Saturday should be the Holmglen from Dunedin. She will pick up cargo for Wellington. Wanganui, New Plyniouth and Waikato, sailing for these ports via Lyttelton. The Wingatui is set down to arrive on Sunday next from the south. On Monday the vessel will load general cargo for Wellington and Auckland, via Lyttelton. The Storm is also due on Saturday to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui, via Lyttelton. To load for northern ports, the Waipiata is due in Timaru on April 9. Oversea*. The Port Dunedin is expected to complete her Homeward loading tomorrow, and sail for Bluff. DELAY ON JAPANESE SHIP. By Telegrftph—Press Association WELLINGTON, March 27. Because the watersiders considered that not enough men were employed in the hold in loading scrap metal, the Japanese vessel Ryoka Maru was held up about an hour this morning. The difficulty was overcome by the watersiders offering to .work all cargo from the deck, the metal being pushed into the hold.
