Senator Massy j 3reene will provide one of the most 1 nteresting links with those directly j roncerned in framing and signing the Treaty of Waitangi. Mr* Greene is a great nephew of Captain Hobson. New Zealand's first Governor, and accepted an invitation o attend the celebrations to mark the nauguration of the Trust Board s work n administering the area presented to he nation by Lord and Lady Bledisloe. Vlr Greene is believed to be the only verson in the Dominion to-day who is i descendant of Captain Hobson. Mr Forbes left for Auckland cn route to Waitangi by to-night’s Limited. He is to snend to-morrow in Auckland. A large party will leave Wellington for Waitangi by to-morrow afternoon's express.
