FATAL ACCIDENT

DEATH OF ALBURY WOMAN. Injuries which subsequently proved fatal were received by Mrs Clara Clark, wife of the licensee of the Albury Hotel, when she was knocked down by a motor-car in Timaru last night. It is understood that Mrs Clark was crossing the intersection of Church and Bank Streets, when she was struck by a car driven by Mr G. B. Green, of Timaru. The injured woman was attended by Dr Bums and Dr Unwin, and was conveyed to Sister McArthur s private hospital in Bidwill Street, where shelled at 12.20 this morning.
