A BUNNY EGG-COSY

This jolly little egg-cosy is made from scraps of pink ripple-cloth. Pink flannel or pink velvet would do equally well.

Cut out two rabbit shapes according to the measurements in diagram 2, being 4in. wide and 7Un. long. Stitch the face as you see it in the first sketch, using black stranded cotton. Little shiny black boot buttons make the eyes. Join the two pieces, back and front, and pad with white wadding, using yellow sateen or pink if preferred, for the lining. Take a strip of the ripple-cloth, fold it, and attach it to each side of the bunny. Gather this and sew it firmly in the centre, forming paws. The eggspoon is held in the bunny’s paws, which is really a loop, as the diagram shows. This should make an attractive little Christmas present, and it would be a pretty novelty to help stock a fanev stall at a bazaar.
