RANGITATA PASSENGERS

ARRIVALS AT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, December 21. There were a number of prominent people among the passengers on the Rangitata, which arrived from London to-day. Sir James Mills, chairman of direcctors of the Union Steamship Company, returned after spending several months in England. Mr H. White Wickman (London), Lieutenant-Colonel G. S. Douglas (India), Colonel Sir Philip and Lady Brocklehurst (England), Major P, Kerr-Smiley (London), Lieutenant Commander G. Branson (London) arrived for the fishing season. Mr C. E. Malfroy, the New Zealand tennis player, who has been at Cambridge University for three years; and Mr H. F. Niooll, president of the New Zealand Trotting Conference, also returned from England.
