BURGLARY
DRAPERY VAN STOLEN. By Telegraph—Press Association ASHBURTON, November 2. Burglars last evening forced Mr A. White’s garage, at Methven, and removed a drapery van containing £2OO worth of stock, the property of the D.1.C., Chriscthurch. A fruit shop was also entered, but only a few bananas were taken. An attempt to force Mr Battson’s drapery doors was unsuccessful. The lorry stolen from Methven was found abandoned near Rakaia. Little, if anything, is missing.
