MINISTER MISSING
CLOTHES POUND ON BEACH. By Telegraoh—Press Association. TAURANGA, Nov. 1. The police have been searching all the afternoon for the body of the Rev. E. G. Ault, whose clothes were found on the beach at Welcome Bay, an inlet of Tauranga Harbour, this morning. Mr Ault was missed from his home at Turus on Saturday. His car was discovered on the Tauranga-Tepuke road last night, about five miles from Tauranga. As the tide was full when the clothes were found, and the bay covers an extensive area, the police did not begin a search till low tide, when most of the area is bare. Up till a late hour this afternoon, no trace had been found of the body. Mr Ault was about fifty years of age, and has suffered from failing health for the past three months, recently having had a nervous breakdown.
