A group of Maoris from all over New Zealand, and who are direct descendants of the leading chieftains, are with Mr T. Katana, the Maori prophet, from Wanganui, camped at the home of the late Hon. Te Heu Hen Tukino, Lyall Bay. The party is in Wellington in connection with the rights of Maoris under the. Treaty of Waitangi. The royal houses represented are Te Heu Hen Tukino, Te Rauparaha, Tc Rangihaoata, Te Whiti, Tohu, Titokowaru, Te Kooti, Hongi llika, Potatau, Te Wherowhero, Potangaroa, Te Maiharoa and others.
