FARMERS APPEAL FOR HELP. By Telegraph—Press Association. WAIROA, October 14. The Wairoa branch of the Fanners’ Union, carried unanimously, the following resolution:— “That this branch desire to impress on the attention of the Government that unless the national appeal is taken up more seriously than is at pre-

sist farmers in the stricken area of Wairoa to rehabilitate this devastated district; and that a copy of the resolution be forwarded to the Dominion executive soliciting its support.
