AWARD AGREED ON. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, October 14. The representatives of the employers and workers in the bootmaking industry came to an agreement in the Conciliation Council to-day. There will he a preference for Unionists and there is provision for the payment of overtime, and for disputes and an advisory committee comprising two representatives from each side with an independent chairman will be appointed in each industrial centre, to whom disputes arising., out of the award must be referred before going Ito the Court,
