The Labour Conference passed a resolution in favour of the national ownership of farm lands, public farming corporations, and co-operative cultivation, with boards to control imports and prices. The aim must be to achieve the greater home production of food; more employment on the land, with better wages and conditions, and to see that the producer obtains a steady and regular price, by controlling imports.
