After a fierce fight, in which dynamite bombs were used, coastguards near Burollos captured a smuggler’s craft containing hashish valued at £15,000, The consignee, Aboul Ela, a leading drug smuggler, learning of the loss, soaked his cloathes in paraffin, ignited them and was burned to death.
