air F. L. Wooles. Wind fresh easterly to southerly; weather unsettled, and showery at times. Dominion Meteorologist. A rather Intense depression has moved on to the Dominion, its centre to-day being over northern districts. An anti-cyclone still covers Eastern Australia. Expect variable winds at first, but moderate to strong southerly soon prevailing generally. Seas rather rough north of FareweU Spit and Akaroa; elsewhere moderate. Weather unsettled, cloudy and misty, with rain in most districts, and some heavy falls from Nelson and Marlborough northwards. Temperatures becoming cooler.
