NOTES. After lifting Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato consignments, the Holmglen sailed on Saturday for Lyttelton. To load cargo for Wellington and Auckland, the Waimarino is due today from Oamaru. The Storm should be here to-morrow to lift Wellington and Wanganui shipments. The OpiHi is due on Wednesday from Oamaru to load for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. The Poolta should also arrive from Oamaru on Wednesday to lift Wellington, Napier and Gisborne cargo.

The Holmdale is scheduled to arrive to-morrow from Oamaru, and after taking Wellington, Picton and Wanganui consignments, will sail for Lyttelton. To load for Wellington direct, the Totara is due in port on Thursday from Dunedin. The W ; ngatui is to call on September sth, on her way north from Dunedin. The vessel will lift Wellington and Auckland consignments before sailing for Lyttelton. On September 3rd the Port Waikato is listed to arrive from Dunedin. After loading for Tauranga, Whan* garei, Auckland and Dargaville. the vessel will sail hence to Wellington. The Orepuki is due from Dunedin on September 4th' to lift shipments for Dunedin, Wellington and Wanganui. Overseas. The is in port loading meat and general cargo for London and West of England ports. She should proceed to Lyttelton to-morrow. The Narbada left Calcutta on August 7th for Penang, Singapore and Samarapg, thence to New Zealand ports. She is due at Timaru towards the end of September. The Piako should arrive from Bluff on September Ist to load meat and general cargo for London. The Norfolk left London on August 18th and is due at Timaru about October 14th. The Otaio will leave Liverpool on October Bth, and is expected at Timaru early in December.
