SHIPPING LOSSES
MILLIONS SHORTAGE IN FRANCE. United press Association—By Electric Telegraph—CoDyright (Received August 28, 11.45 p.m.) PARIS, August 28. The Compagnie Generale Trans atlantique reports a loss of over £3,000,000 in 1931. Now forty eight vessels out of the total fleet of ninety ships are laid up.
