I The John arrived here yesterday j morning from Oamaru and berthed at ! No. 3 wharf. To-day she is expected to j load for Wellington, Wanganui and New Plymouth, and sail for Wellington. The Waipiata reached here yesterday morning from Dunedin. After loading for Wellington and Auckland, she should Sail this evening for Lyttelton. The Gale which arrived yesterday morning from Dunedin, is expected to load for Wellington and Wanganui, after which she is to sail for Lyttelton. The Opihi is set down to arrive on Tuesday from Oamaru. Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth are her loading ports. The motor sh|p Port Waikato, for Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland and Whangarei, is due at Timaru tomorrow from the south. The Poolta is set down to load Wellington, Napier and Gisborne cargo at Timaru on Wednesday, The Storm is scheduled for Wednesday from the south to load Wellington and Wanganui general cargo. The Waikouaiti, which has left Sydney for New Zealand is timed to arrive here on August 9th, to discharge and load general Australian cargo. Overseas. It is expected that the Tamaroa will reach Timaru on Thursday from Port Chalmbers to load frozen meat and general cargo for London.
