TRAIN WRECKERS
SIXTH ATTEMPT IN NEW SOUTH WALES. United Press Association—Bv Electric Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, July 9. The sixth attempt since June 13 was made last night to wreck a passenger train in the Taree district. The Sydney-Tonkempsey train, travelling at 25 miles per hour in heavy rain, crashed into sleepers placed across the lines. The passengers felt a jolt. Some jumped from the carriages as the train was brought to a standstill. The authorities have now placed a day and night patrol on the line and drivers have been ordered to travel at a greatly reduced speed.
