J Wizard Smith received a cordial welcome home by many friends upon the I arrival of the Zealandia to-day. In an interview, he said that he was j confident of breaking the record upon his return to New Zealand at the end of the year. “I have not lost faith in j the beach. There is none in the world to compare with it.” Smith expressed grateful appreciation of the hospitality accorded him during his stay in New Zealand.
