Mr F. 1.. Wooles. Wind fresh, south to east; weather unsettled, and showery at times. Outlook for week ending April 18th; Wind mainly easterly to southerly; weather more or less unsettled, with fair rainfall 'during the period. Dominion Meteorologist. An irregular anti-cyclone covers New Zealand, but a rather deep depression is centred in the south-west Tasman Sea, Expect moderate and variable easterly winds prevailing in the south, and westerlies in the north; later northerlies predominating. Seas moderate generally. Weather still unsettled, with further rain in most districts and some heavy falls in the South. Island; some mist or fog also In the South Island.
