Periodical analysing of the returns shows that thirty-two States, representing a population of 88,000.000, are voting from two to one to six to one “wet.” The “wettest” States are New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island, while Kansas alone gives a majority for continuance, ancl North Carolina is “almost dry.”
