LUNAR ECLIPSE.
OBSERVED IN SYDNEY. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright SYDNEY, Marc 23. The lunar eclipse last night was one of the finest ever observed here. Ninety-seven per cent of the surface was affected and turned copper colour in the earth’s shadow. Beginning at 8 o’clock, it reached the maximum at 10.32, and ended at 1 o’clock in the morning. The atmosphere was clear, and many photographs were obtained.
