PLANE IN TROUBLE

PILOT'S DARING CLIMB. By Telegraph—Press Association HAMILTON, February 15. Pilot S. J. Blackmore had an unenviable experience yesterday, when a bolt from a landing wheel fell out while he was flying near New Plymouth. Instead of landing at New Plymouth he decided to return to Hamilton and land on familiar ground. He had two New Plymouth pilots with him, and leaving one to control the machine he climbed out of the cockpit, placing a screw driver in the bolt hole. He was able to make a perfect landing as a result.
