SEASON’S RECORD FOR MERINO. United Press Association—By Electric Tel egr aph—Copyri ght (Received February 10, 9.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 10. At the wool sales the offerings totalled 11,252 bales, of which 10.370 were sold, in addition to 754 sold privately. Greasy merino made a fresh Australian record for the season of 331 d. There was very keen competition from all sections, with specially strong demand from Japan and increased support from France. The market ruled at the firmest point for a fortnight.
