The John arrived from Dunedin yesterday morning, and after loading for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato. sailed for Lyttelton. Contrary to expectations the Poolta , did not arrive last evening and is now I due from Oamaru this morning to take I cargo for Wellington. Nelson. New Plymouth and Westport. The Calm from Dunedin is expected to reach Timaru to-day en route to Wellington and Wanganui, via Lyttelton. To-morrow evening the Waipiata is due from Oamaru to load general cargo for Wellington and Auckland. She is down to sail later in the evening for Lyttelton. The Waikouaiti is listed to call ax Timaru to-morrow to take general Sydney cargo. From here she is to proceed to Sydney and Newcastle, via Bluff. Welington. Tauranga and Whangarei consignments should be taken from Timaru to-morrow by the Port Waikato, which is expected from the south. Overseas. To-day the Opawa is due from Dunedin to lead wool, frozen meat and general cargo for London and West of England ports. She should be despatched for Port Chalmers this evening, from where she is to proceed, via Napier and Wellington, to Lyttelton. which is to be her final port of j call before sailing for London, via j Cape Horn. * K The Remuera is listed to arrive on February 17th from Lyttelton to take general cargo for Home markets.
