THE WEATHER.

Mr F. L. Woolea. Wind moderate to strong, northerly ruling; weather, fair and warm conditions ruling, with scattered showers shortly. Dominion Meteorologist. While an anti-cyclone has been moving on to the Dominion, a slight low pressure wave has been passing in the far south. The barometers have commenced to fall again over Tasmania. Expect moderate southerly minds, north of Cape Egmont and Napier; moderate to fresh westerly to southerly, thence southwards. Seas still rather rough on parts of the West Coast south of Cape Egmont, and rough in Foveaux Strait; elsewhere moderate. Expect a continuance of fair to fine in most districts, but scattered showers are likely on the West Coast of the South Island and in Foveaux Strait. Cool night but warm day temperatures.
