AVIATOR’S NIGHTMARE FLIGHT. United Press Association —By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright (Received August 20, 7.15 pm.) IVIGTUT, August 19. The German aviator Gronau, who is blazing a trail across the Arctic for the American-European mail service, arrived from Godthaab after a nightmare flight of a thousand miles across the Greenland icecap from Scoresby Sound. He departed for Godhavn, whence he will make his final hop to America.
