The New Zealand cricketers commenced a match against Norfolk in fine weather. The wicket was easy, but a strong wind assisted the bowlers. Vivian, Lowry and Blunt stood down from the New Zealand team. Norfolk are represented by Rought (3), Falcon, Walker, Pedder, Smith, Chad, Foster, Coldham and Eagle. Page won the toss, but New Zealand started badly. Following are the scores:— NEW ZEALAND. First Innings.
