ANGLICAN HARRIERS. The Timaru Anglican Harirers were the guests of the St. Michael’s Ladies’ Guild, at St. Michael's Hall, Wilson Street on Saturday afternoon. Twelve runners took the trail, which led from the hall up Church Street West to Otipua Road, to Wailti Road, past Glen-iti to Morgan’s Road, returning through Glen-iti to the hall, the distance being about six miles. The fast pack returned in a bunch, Broadhead and Bennett being to the fore. In the slow pack C. Cullen was first with V. Hadlee second. After the run the Harriers were entertained to afternoon tea by the ladies of the Guild, the refreshments being appreciated by the runners. The captain (.G. Broadhead) thanked the ladies on behalf of the Club. Mrs S. Davey suitably replied. Next Saturday the Club will be the guests of Mrs H. Darby, Otipua Road.
