Tense Excitement Prevails. BIG ISSUES AT STAKE. United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph— Copyright (Received April 12, 7.50 p.m.) MADRID, April 12. Tense excitement prevails throughout the country over Sunday's municipal elections, which are regarded as a rehearsal lor the general election In June. The voting is expected clearly to indicate the strength of monarchist and republican feeling. The campaign has been marked by unusually violent language. In many cities, the monarchists and antimonarchist parties coalesced to permit a cleareut Issue. The newspapers are so partisan that they are refusing their opponents advertising. The whole force of the Church is supporting the monarchists.
