HARD TIMES IN QUEENSLAND. United Press Association—By Elective British Official Wlrelsaa BRISBANE, April 10. A total of 985 men vanished from the ration line in Brisbane alone during one week. The Minister for Labour and Industry wants to know why their disappearance coincides with a new scheme, whereby able-bodied men will work for the value of the rations due.
