NEW RATES NEXT WEEK. By Toiegrap-n- -Press Association WELLINGTON, April 9. The Postmaster -General (Hon. J. B. Donald) announces that from April 13th, the postage on newspapers for Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Irish i Free State, Canada. Australia and ! other places in the British Empire, of j which a rate of a penny for each six j ounces or fraction thereof per copy now applies, will be one penny for each ! sixteen ounces or fraction per copy. d
