VISIT TO JAPAN.
SIAM'S ROYALTY WELCOMED. United Press Association—By Electrlo Tel egrapU—Copyi TOKIO, April 7. For the first time in 50 years, Japan has been visited by a reigning monarch. On arrival at Yokohama, the King and Queen of Siam were saluted with 21 guns by the cruiser Isuzu. The station plaza was densely crowded. The Royalties proceeded to the Kasumigasoki Palace, where they are stayr ing with the Emperor, who will coni fer a decoration on the King and Queen. An elaborate programme of functions has been arranged.
