ATHLETICS.

METHODIST HARRIER CLUB. On Saturday afternoon the Methodist Club will be the guests of Mr and Mrs F. Metson, Livingstone Street. Last Saturday afternoon, members were entertained by the Woodlands Street Ladies’ Guild at the conclusion of their run. Thanks were returned to the ladies by Rev. P. I. Cooke, R. Lund (Methodist Club captain), G. Broadhead (Anglican Club captain), and H. Dennison (Presbyterian Club), and Mrs Trott replied on behalf of the Ladies’ Guild.

On 28th inst., the Club will have no official run, as on that day the South Canterbury Amateur Athletic Club are having a sports meeting, and several members will be taking part.
