RAILWAY WAGE REDUCTION.
SAVINGS ESTIMATED IN MILLIONS. United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 8, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 7. It is estimated that the net saving* on the railways under the new wages award, will be £4,000,000 for the full year, compared with £9,500,000 claimed by the companies.
