STREETS FLOODED.
TOWNS SWEPT BY CLOUDBURST. United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, March 6. A cloudburst, remarkable for its intensity and the small area it affected, swamped the township of Penrith last night. Rain fell in torrents for 2 h hours. In the main street water reached a height of four feet. Shops were flooded and traffic disorganised. Hundreds of cars were stranded. The main mountain road was impassable.
