The wedding took place in Wesley Church, Singapore, to-day of Roberta Semple, aged 20, daughter of Mrs Aimee McPherson, the evangelist, to Mr William Bradley Smith (23), purser on the President Wilson, whereon the mother and daughter are taking a tour of the East. The pair met in San Francisco and became engaged at Shanghai. They will continue the trip. Mrs McPherson said: “It is a pure love match. I give it my blessing.”
