FARMER’S DEATH.

SUDDEN COLLAPSE. Advice was received yesterday shortly after 5 p.m. of the sudden death, at his farm, Maungati, of Mr Francis Arthur Sergeant, who was 50 years of age.

It is believed that Mr Sergeant was out walking with his brother yesterday afternoon when suddenly he collapsed, and died almost immediately. The deceased had apparently been in good health, and had never been attended by a doctor. It is not known whether an inquest will be necessary.
