Mr Scullin’s Difficult Part. COMPROMISE TO EXTREMISTS FORECASTED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, December 30. “The Sydney Morning Herald” says: “It is stated in Federal Labour circles th|at Mr J. H. Scullin may avert the threatened Federal crisis upon his return; by a compromise with the militant sections of his Party. It is considered certain that if Mr Scullin decided straight out to support Mr Lyons and Mr Fenton in defying the demands of the Caucus, he would immediately be confronted with a move to depose him from his position.
