Dear Peter Pan
I hope you got the box of dollies I sent you. lam going to tell you about the dream I had the other night. I had just packed the dollies and was lying thinking about them. Suddenly they seemed to grow bigger and bigger, till at last they jumped out of the box and all joined hands and danced round and round the room. In the middle of the room sat a lovely lady, all dressed in blue, with silvery shining stars all over her dress. She was so lovely that I held my breath and said, “Ah!” Then someone said, “S-sh! That’s our Peter Pan!” Wasn’t that a lovely dream? I hope you have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Love from your loving Circlian— “Lintie,” Molly Clark, Holme Station. Dear Peter Pan, I have just finished making a little flannel pair of slippers and a knitted pair and hope they will fill a small place in the hold of our Ship. I have knitted nine pairs of these slippers since September and have been spending a lot of time in the garden just lately, so have not had time to write before. Our little black bantam has six little white fluffy chicks and another black bantam has one. Another big brown bantam has three chicks just over two months old and she still broods one little black chick at night. I have a little grey rabbit now and call him Robert. He has been running around the back yard and sleeping under the house at night. But Mr. Robert got too smart for himself and had a midnight feast in dad’s garden. so I have had to shut him up today for good. Our kitten and bunny are great cobbers and play together by the hour. Puss chases bunny and when she catches up to him she suddenly fall 3 over and of course bunny gets away. After they finish playing they wash each other, and finally go to sleep, puss holding bunny’s head between her paws. Your loving Circlian— “Golden Primrose,” Maggie Elliott, Timaru. Dear Peter Pan, One day a party of us went for a motor drive up to Mount Peel Settlement. I shall always bear in my mind’s eye the beautiful scenery, but what most appealed to me was the Mt. Peel Settlement dhurch, erected by Mr.
