ORARI BRIDGE.
TENNIS CLUB. On Saturday afternoon, in the Temuka Town and Country Tennis Association’s competition, Orari travelled to Winchester to meet that Club. Unfortunately, Orari was unable to field its usual team, and the visitors suffered defeat to the tune of 96 games to 37. Winchester was successful in winning all the sets, and is still in the lead in the competition. BREAK-UP DANCE. The Orari School held its oreak-up dance on Thursday evening, when the spacious Orari Hall was filled with parents and children. A Christmas cake competition was won by Mr J. Harris. The duties of M.C. were carried out by Mr F. Priddle. SCHOOL SPORTS. The annual picnic and sports of the Orari School was held in the Orari Domain on Wednesday.
