ALSFORE DISASTER.

While 150,000 people were attending the funerals of the victims of the Alsfore disaster, news was received that a fire damp explosion had occurred Jn the Maybach mine near Saar (Brucken) entombing 82 men. The first body was brought out at six this evening. The Alsfore burials lasted some hours, during which several hundred Communists appeared in the market place and played Communist airs. They came into collision with the police, who dispersed them. OVER ONE HUNDRED DEAD. EXPLOSION IN MAYBACH MINE. News from Saar (Brucken) states that it is feared that over one hundred are dead at the Maybach mine, from which twenty dead have been brought to the surface, and ninety are still missing. It is believed there is little chance of rescuing them alive. One miner states that the catastrophe was caused by the exploding of a petrol locomotive in a side gallery, which in turn exploded. Coal dust and dense clouds of yellow smoke appeared on the surface, indicating that the galleries are on fire.
