LABOUR UNREST.
DISTURBANCE AT PORT ADELAIDE. Utilted Press Association—Bv Electrio Willi Telegraph—Copyright ADELAIDE. August 29. There were more disturbances the Port Adelaide waterfront. A crowd of unemployed was by the police with batons, and teer workers are closely guarded. The South Australian branch of Carters' and Drivers’ Union decided call a general strike, excluding cart drivers. The trouble has reference to waterside dispute. The Premier (Mr L. L. Hill) state<l^Hß that if negotiations are not re-opene<^^Mo between the shipowners and siders. the Government will take tion to settle the dispute regarding volunteer labour.
